Vegetables Gardening - Growing Organic Vegetables

Hello,

Having read all the information I can access on Mittleider Method Gardening and taken a decision to start a farm on my compound, please I need clarification in these areas.

I have done every search possible I can't find anywhere in Nigeria to purchase the mittleider Micro-nutrient and fertilizer and the customs will not allow me import into Nigeria except I have chemical import licence which takes Months to process and the fee is very high

1. Does anyone know where I can purchase the micro nutrient and fertilizer in Nigeria, if not what do I need to mix it at home?  

(You must find a company that supplies fertilizers to the farmers/large growers.  You will ask for the materials listed in The Mittleider Gardening Course book.

2. can I inter-crop pepper, cucumber and lettuce on the same grow bed/box?

(We do NOT recommend intercropping!  Give each variety its own space.  Plant in blocks, and make sure the sizes and growing times are similar for plants that share the same box or bed.)

3. Am using a concrete paved area for my grow box, do I need to cover the bottom of the box with wood or should just pour the sand on the concrete surface?

(Do not put a floor of any kind in your box but place the soil mix into the box right on top of the concrete.)

4. In the last email to me I was referred to a free e-book for immediate download-The Mittleider gardening course, but I can't download it is there anything I need to do?  (see above)

5. If I purchase any of the CD's how do I get it in Nigeria?  (We use the US Postal Service and ship by International Priority Mail to foreign countries.)
